Designing compensation arrangements for existing and newly-formed or merged primary care and single or multi-specialty groups. The focus is on building a consensus within the group for a consistent approach to compensating physicians for their patient care and other practice contributions. Specific emphasis is placed on addressing the defining elements of compensation and benefits, reinforcing desired changes in organizational culture, adopting productivity and quality measurement processes, establishing methods for measuring and collecting data and developing potential non-cash rewards.
Designing Acquisition-Oriented Physician Compensation Plans
Developing pre-acquisition compensation policies and designing incentive plans, integrating legal, financial and quality of care issues with physician compensation.

Conducting independent reviews of existing contract arrangements and the design of more effective contract terms, including competitive market assessment of compensation levels and economic testing of the financial relationship and presentation of alternative models for contract restructuring.

Providing independent third party assistance to hospitals, healthcare systems, law firms, and accounting firms in determining if physician compensation represents fair market value or is "reasonable" under CMS and Internal Revenue Service regulations.
